Brand licensing

Brand licensing is a key area where a value-based approach can yield a fair and rational perspective. Our consultants have significant experience in this area, advising on all aspects of the process.

External licensing

We help our clients to understand and balance the many factors that can influence third party brand licensing negotiations. By working through these issues we help to determine fair royalty rates that reflect the economic benefit of the licensor's brand on the licensee's business.

Internal licensing

Our consultants have worked with several of the world's largest companies to implement large scale internal brand royalty programmes. Our approach is ideal for establishing international royalty programmes, where the potential tax implications require that any royalty arrangements are fair and consistent with the approach used for third parties.
